KGNU likes Big Stamps

Filed under: Fun, Funny, Multimedia — cswilly @ 19:31

I am a member of KGNU, a Boulder Colorado, progressive (ok way left) politics, eclectic music playing, radio station. Listen to it everyday.
For some reason, they sent me a dead tree Program Guide (what were they thinking). The coolness is that they used an envelope with the biggest stamp I have ever seen !

Extreme Diet Coke and Mentos Experiments

Filed under: Fun, Funny — cswilly @ 11:02

This video is just for Steven, but I liked it also.

What happens when you combine 200 liters of Diet Coke and over 500 Mentos mints? It’s amazing and completely insane.

The first part of this video demonstrates a simple geyser, and the second part shows just how extreme it can get. Over one hundred jets of soda fly into the air in less than three minutes.

It’s a hysterical and spectacular mint-powered version of the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas, brought to you by the mad scientists at EepyBird.com.

Guides de Hotel Charme

The page for Auberge du Colombier is Roquefort Les Pins is very accurate.
This makes me think that the Hotel de Charme website would be worth while.

46km Bide Ride to Grasse

Filed under: Alpes Maritimes (06), Bike, France, Outdoor — cswilly @ 12:08

A double loop ride this time from RLP, to Chateauneuf, Opio, Grasse, back to Chateauneuf, then to Plascassier, Valbonne, Le Bois-Fleuri and back to RLP. The only hard bit is the last up in Grasse and that is only for 100 meters.

Again, I used GPS Visualizer to create the live map from my GPS data.
